PAYMENT

All fees to be paid in full before classes commence. (Fall or Spring Semester students wishing to pay in two payments must submit two checks with their enrollment, the first dated upon registration and the second postdated for the date noted on the Student Enrollment Form.) Semester fees are not refundable.

CANCELLATION POLICY

The instructors at The Ridgewood Conservatory are professional musicians currently performing in the tri-state area. In the event that a teacher is unable to be present during a regularly scheduled appointment time due to performance responsibilities, the lesson/rehearsal will be covered by another instructor at the scheduled day and time or will be rescheduled for another date during the semester. A maximum of three times will be offered.
During the Fall or Spring semesters: Two make-up lessons per semester may be provided for private lessons missed by the student with a strict minimum of 24 hours prior notice. (One make-up lesson will be offered for students who enroll for 12 weeks or less.) Missed group classes or make-up lessons cannot be rescheduled. Lesson times may be adjusted to accommodate a change in the student’s school schedule only if the instructor has another time slot available.
During the Summer semester: Private or group lessons cancelled by summers students WILL NOT BE RESCHEDULED.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

In the event of inclement weather, please call us to find out if we will be open. We will try to post an announcement on our answering machine by 1pm M-F (8am Sat-Sun) regarding closing information for private instruction, and by 8am for Early Childhood programs and camps. If The Conservatory is closed, each instructor will designate one make-up day at least one week later. We encourage you to take advantage of this make-up opportunity as we cannot ask our instructors to come back a second day.
