Musical Instruments With Piano, Close Up

Welcome to The Ridgewood Conservatory, Bergen County’s finest school for the performing arts!

We are very proud of our growing reputation for providing the highest level of music, acting and dance instruction since first opening our doors in 1998. Our diverse programs encompass expert instruction in a wide range of musical and performance genres from classical and musical theater to pop, rock, R&B and jazz.

Our faculty is comprised of over 30 outstanding teachers dedicated to continuing the tradition of excellence established by our founder and director, Louis Caimano B.S., B.M., M.M., LAUREATE. Not only do all of our instructors hold Master’s degrees (or have exceptional performance experience), they also have extensive teaching credentials and professional credits.

The Ridgewood Conservatory offers private music lessons by world-class virtuosi on strings, woodwinds, brass, piano, percussion, guitar, and voice; private acting lessons and group workshops; chamber music and jazz ensembles; jazz improvisation workshops; theory and musicianship, composition, music history, audition preparation and music AP coaching for children, teens and adults at all levels.

In our Suzuki-plus! Violin Program, young musicians ages 4-7 learn to play the violin – as well as learning to read music – in our unique approach to the Suzuki method.

The Early Childhood Program at The Ridgewood Conservatory includes joyful, non-competitive, Music and Dance classes specially designed to meet the developmental needs of our youngest students and taught by highly trained Early Childhood educators.
